"I love to travel with my family around Scotland (if possible with my son Bodhi) and try to capture the mood and atmosphere she creates at any given turn. A bonus is I get to share my paintings of the beautiful landscape of our beloved Scotland around the World.
I was born and raised in the shipbuilding town of Greenock and I have been painting since the age of 10. Having studied Interior Design in Glasgow for 4 years, my background hopefully adds an interesting dimension to the artwork. I achieved national design awards during my studies and after graduating worked in the field of film & theatre set design, as a picture framer and an art gallery manager. Eventually, I found myself interested solely in painting.
My contemporary artworks vary from representational to atmospheric impressionistic (sometimes abstract) paintings and prints depicting Scotland’s landscapes and beyond. I also enjoy painting landscapes and cityscapes from around the World. Influences while painting include travel, film and music." - Kevin

My fine art canvases are produced using a giclée fine art printing process and hand finished with a white canvas edge finish.
Made from professional artist stretcher bars milled from kiln-dried knotless pine.
My framed canvas is a 38mm stretched canvas within a traditional picture frame.
The frame sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas helping create a floating framed border.

Artist Proof Collector Print Information
When I am checking the colour and quality of my giclee prints for signing I receive proof prints.
Traditionally, an Artist's Proof remained the property of the artist. In modern times they are sold at the same time as open-edition prints.
All my Artist's Proofs are signed, titled, dated and have the mark A/P. There is only 1 Artist's Proof for any of my paintings.
An Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm) - A premium fine art paper with a velvety surface perfect for archival quality reproductions.
A heavy-duty artist paper with a slightly more textured finish than standard. The velvety matte surface is optimised for high-contrast prints and works brilliantly for proof printing. The paper has a warm white hue providing a perfect surface for reproducing paintings.
